Agriculture Ministry sees reasons for flour, bread, oil price growth

MOSCOW, Dec 24 (PRIME) -- There are preconditions for an insignificant flour, bread and sunflower seed oil price rise because of rising fuel, logistics, equipment and packaging prices, an Agriculture Ministry spokesperson said on Friday.

"At the same time, continuing growth of domestic producers' spending due to increase of the public utilities fees, logistics, packaging costs and other (factors) constituting the prime cost, continues to affect the prices negatively," the official said.

Besides, the wheat prices can grow on the global market because of a poor harvest in the Northern hemisphere.
